October Fun

Lots of things happened in October.....



I got to dress up for halloween....

And hang out with some friends....

I got a haircut....

Auntie Abby found her wedding dress....

(No silly, this isn't her REAL dress...its just a picture for visual effect....mommy wants to live to see me graduate...can you imagine what aunty abby would do if mommy posted her real dress?!?!)

Gramma knitted me this sweater....

Whew....it was a busy month....so busy, i could hardly stay awake to eat...which is one of my favorite things to do....

Walking the walk

I'm a full-time walker now....not long after my first birthday i decided i was done with the crawling business....it was getting me nowhere.

I'm one!!

Here's my cake...it had a 4-wheeler on it...i loooooovvveee 4-wheelers. my grandpa has one and whenever i see it i point to it and then dad takes my for a ride.

I got my own cake for my birthday, but i didn't really know what to do with it. dad's here trying to help me...i never did figure it out.

this is my present from mom and dad. its a little 4-wheeler....but its big fun. i can't even walk yet, but i can cruise around on this bad boy. i push the red button and enjoy the ride....

Ooopsie

So, it's been brought to my attention that i've been a big slacker with this blogging site. OK, i get it. i'm reeaaallly important and people want to be in the know. i don't have any pictures today, but will get some up soon. here's a couple updates....
1. i have a helmet doctor appointment today and we find out if i get to adios the thing. i'm hoping its a go. it's been hot out and not a treat to wear.
2. i am getting older. in a couple days i'll be 11 months. that's right you all better save the date for the big 1 year party. take notes....i like trucks and anything that makes noise when i move it. or anything else that i've never seen or played with before. all of these things are good.
3. i'm starting to stand up and let go of whatever is supporting me. be afraid....be very afraid....i will be walking in no time :)

9 months old

Hi guys...i'm 9 months old now!! things are getting busier around here. i'm scootin' all over the place. still haven't mastered the whole crawling thing, but i can do the army crawl just about anywhere i really need to go. i also pulled myself up yesterday--right in front of mom. i saw the remote and mom's cell phone (2 of my favorite things) sitting on the ottoman and thought i just had to have them...so i pulled myself up to get a better look.




in this pic you can kind of see my tooth!! yes it has finally made its appearance. i think the one right next to it is not far from making its debut and i've got a top tooth making its move too. fun times...

My new headwear...

after much anticipation i am finally able to post some pictures of my new helmet, OK Cranio Cap. I have been wearing it for about 4 weeks now and things are going really good. I really don't mind wearing it, but i'll be the first to help you get the darn thing off of me when bath time rolls around.

I just had a check up last week and the docs think I'm making progess. I get some funny looks when I'm out in public and i hear little kids asking their parents what i'm wearing and why i have to wear it. sometimes mom hangs around to hear what the parents tell their kids, other times she just answers for them. she just tells them that i have a flat head on one side so i get to wear a helmet to make it better. it usually does the trick. we've had other grown-ups come and ask us how its working becuause their child or grand child might get one. So, i'm thinking of adding this experience to my modeling resume...hehe.

As you can see my helmet hasn't slowed me down at all. I've been cruising all over the place checking out new things. Who knew you could hang out under your exer-saucer?!?!

Other than that, i've been a pretty happy guy. still trying to get over a month long cold, but its getting better. i'm 8 months old now and still don't have any teeth!! i'm not quite crawling yet either, but i do the army guy crawl to check out new places. i found sonny's toy box today...there was some pretty cool stuff in there, but mom wouldn't let me play with anything :(
Also we've been busy gearing up for summer. mom and dad had a garage sale this weekend so grandma came and hung out with me. the 'rents are also putting in a garden this weekend. i have no idea what this means except maybe i'll have to play outside sometimes while mom is busy playing in the dirt.
