Not too much new to report at this time. I have had 2 baby showers in the last 2 weeks and both of them were great. My mom, aunt and sista threw one for me on the 20th and the Peters family threw one for me on the 29th. I just have to say that I am so grateful for such generous friends and family. I can already tell that baby Peters is well-loved. What a lucky little bun! We've got most of the essentials now so I can relax with the nesting. Although I have been told that all I really need is a laundry basket and some towels. So, I guess we've been ready all along. And while I keep thinking that I am sooooo ready to have this baby, a very clever sister in-law told me that I am not...That things will change forever after this bun is out of the oven, so I should just enjoy life as I know it while it lasts....I guess I can give that a whirl.
Other than that, things are pretty much the same. The bun still gets hiccups once or twice a day and does a great job of keeping me from bending over at any time.
My next Dr. appointment is on August 8th and I start going every week after that.

July 25
Well it's late July and I am officially 34 weeks prego today. Things are feeling cramped and I don't think there's not a lot of room left for me to share with the bun. I wish I would have thought of starting a blog a lot sooner...but I guess I will consider this the baby's blog when its born and these prenatal posts will just be a little preview, or introduction to the whole thing :)
Here's the scoop so far.....
Due date: Well there are two of them. I am going by my ultra sound due date of Aug. 28. My Dr., of course, is going by my original due date of Sept. 5--meanie.
Sex: We didn't find out at the ultra sound and want it to be a surpise....Lots of people tell me its a boy since I'm carrying it pretty low. My aunt Sandy has a very scientific way of knowing the sex---by checking to see if my back side is bigger than the bump--by using this method I'm told to expect a girl. My doc likes to tell me its a girl because the heart beat is a little fast...I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Names: We're really not sure yet on this one. We have some we like, but aren't 100% about anything...feel free to make suggestions. Remember, our last name doesn't jive so well with about 80% of the names out there :(
Nursery: Its getting there. I'd say we have the essentials...a bed and changing table. The colors are green and brown.
Cravings: Anything sweet--cake, ice cream, candy, cereal...Mmmm, it all sounds good.
Mood: Not the greatest. Anything will annoy me at any time. Lucky for you :)
Overall Health: Good, but TIRED ALL THE TIME. I was tired in the 1st trimester mostly at night. Always wanted to go to bed by about 8pm. Now I just want to sleep all the time. Apparently growing a baby is exhausting.
