These don't need much explanation....I just love sleeping on mom or dad. they are so comfy. they beat my crib hands down.

Who's the Baby?

The other day it got really stormy outside and my dog Sonny got scared. He jumped right up into my mom's lap when it started to thunder outside. i figured i could share mom for a little while.

My First Dr. appointment

i had my first doctor appointment on September 2nd and you wouldn't believe what happened. My appointment was going great....i'm gaining weight and eating like i should be. Mom was proud. But, i had a problem with my left eye--its kind of puffy near my tear duct and its red and leaking a lot. So, my doctor said i should have some blood drawn to make sure it wasn't infected. Let me tell ya--blood draws on people 8-days-old aren't fun :( Well my labs came back not good so my doctor called mom and had her take me to the hospital for IV antibiotics and a CT scan. Mom hasn't ever had a CT scan and she's way older than me.....

Turns out i had to stay in the hospital for 2 whole days while i got antibiotics. Mom and dad stayed with my the whole time. We were allowed to go home on Thursday--but my eye still isn't 100%. We have to go to the U of M on Friday to get my eye probed. i'm not exactly sure what that means, and i don't think i really want to know. They have to probe my eye to get the swelling to release so the infection won't come back. They tell me that its a simple procedure and i should be in and out in no time....i hope their right. i'm tired of being in the hospital--i just want to be home with my mom and dad and Sonny :)

Hanging Out at Home

Hi everyone!! Hank here, I decided to let mom off the hook and write my blogs myself. Just thought I would share a few pictures of me and my dog Sonny. I love hanging out in my vibrating chair. It gives mom a chance to get caught up with my laundry :)

On August 27th we left the hospital....Mine and Bob's 3rd wedding anniversary.
